Carbon-fibre Upper Cowl

Constructed in highly rigid, lightweight CFRP (carbon-fibre reinforced polymer), the upper cowl instantly distinguishes the Ninja H2 Carbon from the standard Ninja H2. Creating an image similar to that of the Ninja H2R, the carbon-fibre piece contributes to enhanced presence.

Smartphone Connectivity

A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application “RIDEOLOGY THE APP,” a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.
* A number of functions are available: - Vehicle Info: information such as fuel gauge, odometer, maintenance schedule, etc can be viewed via the smartphone. - Riding Log: route and rpm can be can be viewed via the smartphone. - Telephone notices: when a call, text or mail is received by the smartphone, this is indicated on the instrument display. - General Settings: general instrument display settings (such as preferred units, date, date format, etc) can be adjusted via the smartphone.

Bosch IMU

The use of Bosch’s compact IMU allows an additional layer of precision to be added to the already high-level KTRC, KLCM and KIBS.IMU enables inertia along 6 DOF (degrees of freedom) to be monitored. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes, plus roll rate and pitch rate are measured.

High-tech lakkering

It is no accident that when viewed from the side, the Ninja H2 does not seem to have the aggressive forward-canted stance of most modern supersport models.

Revised “Supercharged” emblem emphasises the even greater power offered by Ninja H2’s supercharged engine. Colour accents express the specialness of this high-performance engine, while graphics depicting high-velocity intake air being spun around convey a sense of speed.

KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) for opp og ned giring

The Ninja H2 was the first Kawasaki motorcycle to be fit standard with a quick shifter. For 2017, the quick shifter also enables clutchless downshifts.

KCMF (Kawasaki Cornering Management Function)

KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the corner—from entry, through the apex, to corner exit—modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition from acceleration to braking and back again, and to assist riders in tracing their intended line through the corner. On the Ninja H2, KCMF oversees the following systems:
- KTRC (including traction, wheelie and sliding control)
- KLCM
- KIBS (including pitching and corner braking control)
- Kawasaki Engine Brake Control
