The EQ TECH3 system provides a simple and efficient solution to stabilize your Honda Goldwing during stops and maneuvers at low speeds.
Designed for the GL1500, GL1800 before 2017 and GL1800 after 2018, it combines comfort, safety and reliability without changing the structure of the motorcycle.
Operation
The use of the system is intuitive:
- The blue button allows the auxiliary wheels to be lowered (maintain more than 0.5 seconds).
- The red button allows them to be raised.
The control box automatically manages the security:
- Beyond 40 km/h, the system automatically deactivates to avoid improper handling.
- Below 25 km/h, it reactivates and the wheels can be lowered again.
- If the speed reaches 15 km/h and the wheels are still deployed, they automatically rise.
Technology and security
The system incorporates a GPS module that controls the speed and adapts the operation of the wheels according to driving conditions.
It also has an automatic upgrade function that maintains the stability of the motorcycle, even on irregular ground.
In the event of an anomaly detected on one side, an audible alert will automatically trigger.
Installation
The kit includes all the brackets, wiring, control box and a detailed manual for performing the assembly.
The assembly time is estimated at 3 to 4 hours, and can be carried out by a professional or by you if you are comfortable with mechanics.
